About the artist

Hi,
I've been sculpting and making models for 20 years now and although those early efforts were nothing to write home about I've never stopped learning.
I studied design at college and modelmaking at Sunderland University where I got to experiment with various materials for different industries. This led to a leaning in the sculptural field where I felt I was strongest.

Knowledge gained from years of working in various jobs, from orthotic technician for hospitals to research and developement for fire-surrounds and eventually giftware design and production has given me the opportunity to offer these services to you.

I sculpt in wax; plastilene; clay; super sculpy.

Mould in fibreglass; plaster; latex; silicone.

Cast in plaster; polyester resin; polyurethane resin; latex and silicone using vacuum and pressure techniques .

I have the ability to provide a variety of finishes with various paints, pigments and fillers.

I have experience with alginate and silicone life casting, casting in gelatine and foam latex work and just love learning about and trying new products, methods and materials.
